TSCOC: Introduction

This site is dedicated to give honor, glory and praise for God’s grace toward us through Christ Jesus. This is because that in the moment we believed on Christ Jesus, that we are redeemed, reconciled (have peace with God), and justified, Romans 3:24, Romans 5:1, Romans 5:9, 1Corinthians 6:11, to the end that we now have eternal life, Romans 6:23. It is hoped that others would come to know this exceedingly great gift by reading and believing the Word of God, the Bible. By this, anyone can partake of this free gift. It is through the gospel that Paul declared that we are saved, 1Corinthians 11:1-4, through faith alone, Ephesians 2:8-10.

This site is constructed in a way that is intended to help others understand the Word, to see scripture as a whole, and increase their knowledge of Christ as they grow in the Word. Scripture describes the things the Lord has prepared for those that love Him, 1Corinthians 2:9. To portray these promises properly, the approach taken on this website is to view scripture dispensationally. That is, God has described two programs, one for the nation of Israel, another, the prophetic program, the mystery program, for the Body-of-Christ. These programs were instituted according to God’s eternal purpose, which He purposed through Christ Jesus, Ephesians 3:8-11. These two programs are mutually exclusive in that they have different missions and they operate at different times. Through these two programs, God has purposed, to make all things in heaven and earth one in Christ, in the dispensation of the fulness of time, Ephesians 1:10. This is more fully described in the Interpretations section on this website.

When this website was initially posted on the world wide web in 2001, its purpose was to provide those left behind after the Body-of-Christ had been raptured with information needed for them to understand what happened. Most importantly, how they can believe in Christ Jesus and become saved, in the Salvation section in this site, so they can enjoy eternal life with the Lord Jesus Christ. They will want to know what the Lord has prepared for them, His promises to comfort them as they look forward to the coming kingdom, as promised to the nation of Israel. Until the return of the Lord to establish His kingdom on earth, there will be no safe place in this world for a believer in Jesus Christ. The great tribulation will be the worst time the world has and will ever know, Matthew 24:21-22. Believers in Christ Jesus will suffer great persecution in that period for keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, but they will receive great reward for their steadfastness in Christ, Revelation 14:12-13, Revelation 20:4. This will occur after the rapture the Body-of-Christ and before the Lord returns at the end of the seven year tribulation, Zechariah 14:4. Many will ask what happened, what events will occur next, how long will each event last, and what can people do who were left behind. This is what this website attempts to provide to them, the tribulation saints, knowledge and understanding of all the events they will suffer through in the tribulation.

However, previous versions of this site failed to address the program that is now in effect for those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the mystery program for the Body-of-Christ, Ephesians 3:2-4. Until the rapture, we are all living in the dispensation of grace, or age of grace when the mystery program is in full affect. What is included in this new version of this website, is material for the Body-of-Christ. As Paul wrote, now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation, 2Corinthians 6:2, for all those who have yet to believe that Jesus died for their sins according to scripture, was buried, and on the third day, He was resurrected, 1Corinthians 15:1-4. For the believers in Christ during the age of grace are many promises now and the future, directed to the Body-of-Christ, including the blessed hope of the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, Titus 2:11-14. The new content in this website will outline promises made by God to His church and the Body-of-Christ. A study on the book of Acts is included in this site’s version. It will provide the historical context of several great transitions that lead to this dispensation of grace that we now live in until the day the Lord returns in the clouds to call up His bride to Himself, John 14:1-4, 1Corinthians 15:51-54, 1Thessalonians 4:13-18.
